Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician - OR- Assist in various surgical procedures within the Operating Room
- Ensure equipment and instruments are properly prepared and sterilized
- Support the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, hospital policies, and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations as required
Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician - OR- 2+ years of hospital experience in the Operating Room
- CST certification from NNSTSA or NCCT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with Meditech preferred
