Shifts: 6:00AM-3:00PM, 13-week assignment, 36 hours
Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Surgical First Assistant specializing in cardiac surgeries for a travel contract role in Salt Lake City, UT. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic cardiac team within a busy hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the TRAVEL-Surgical First Assistant- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting independently using either Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro equipment
- Assist in open heart surgeries, including CABG and valve repair/replacement
- Support thoracic and aorta repair surgeries, both open and endo
- Rotate on-call duties every third weekend and weekday
- Float within the Main OR as required
Requirements of the TRAVEL-Surgical First Assistant- At least 2 years of experience in independent endoscopic vein harvest
- At least 2 years of open heart first assist experience
- CSFA, CFA, or SA-C certification
