AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Surg Tech in Norman, Oklahoma, 73071!

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Norman, OK at a hospital setting. You will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac surgical procedures. You will prepare the operating room, maintain aseptic technique, sterilize and set up equipment, and provide intraoperative support to ensure patient safety.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, or five (5) consecutive years of surgical technologist training/experience.
  • NBSTSA certification preferred. NBSTSA acceptable and preferred; facility will not pend certifications.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Required CVOR experience in a cardiac surgical environment.
  • Two supervisory references from the past 12 months of employment.
  • Current, relevant work history and a skills checklist updated within the past year, pertinent to the CVOR specialty.
  • Facility requires documentation of license/certifications on file prior to start.
  • LPN with one (1) year surgical tech experience listed as preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days).
  • Call Requirements: 15 call shifts per month and 2 full weekends of call per month.
  • Guarantee: 40-hour guarantee for assignment.
  • Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
