Travel Surgical Tech - $2,288 per week in Pittsburgh, PA

Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM 4 x 10 hr shifts Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the operating room within the last 3 years; preferably 3 years. License: Required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Strong proficiency in the following areas: - General Surgery - Orthopedic Surgery (total joints required) - Neurosurgery (cranial and spine required) - Vascular Surgery - Trauma Surgery - Robotics (DaVinci system; must perform cardiac procedures including arm movement and draping) - Transplant Surgery (not a hard stop) Description: Must not have been a previous regular employee. All shifts will be rotating, including days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekends are required. Call can be during the week and/or on weekends. Weekend shifts can occur on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. In six weeks, may have up to three weekend shifts of call, either Saturday (24-hour: 7 a.m. - 7 a.m.) or Sunday (16-hour: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.). There may be additional night shifts on Friday nights. No block scheduling is available. Call response time is 30 minutes. In-house call rooms are available for use if needed. Minimum of one year of travel experience within the last three years is required. Level 1 Trauma experience is also required, with at least one year within the last three years.
