Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred; Strong Neuro and Total Joint experience required; Experience with Neuro, Spine, Ortho and DaVinci required. License: CST licensure (NBSTSA) Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: HS Diploma, GED or equivalent; 2+ years of experience. Description: Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies. Ensures quality patient care throughout the surgical process. Responsible for sterilization and decontamination processes. Supports surgeons and surgical teams during various procedures. Utilizes surgical instruments and equipment competently. Assists in maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment. Participates in patient education and care post-surgery. Must be available for variable start times and weekend shifts. On-call duties are required. Encouraged to float if necessary.
