Travel Surgical Tech - $2,326 to $2,526 per week in Springfield, OR

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety by preparing the operating room, maintaining the sterile field, sterilizing and managing surgical equipment, and providing direct support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room environment.
• Required: At least 2 years of prior travel experience and prior travel assignments; local-only applicants will not be accepted.
• Required: Proven experience as first scrub and expert first scrub for open heart (cardiac) cases, including counts and management of the sterile field during cardiac procedures.
• Call required as part of the assignment.
• Experience working in hospital operating room settings, including familiarity with setting up specialty surgical equipment and managing specimens.
• Preferred: Prior experience with cardiac surgery / CVOR procedures beyond basic open-heart first scrub requirements.

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 0600-1430.
• Shift pattern: Monday through Friday schedule with call required.
• 8-hour shifts.
• Must be able to float to other facilities if requested by the client.
