Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Technology Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 10 hours (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech or completion of a Surgical Technology program. CVOR experience is required. License: License as required for the position. Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA preferred. Must-Have: - Completed a Surgical Technology program or have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech. - CVOR experience. Description: Assists the surgeon during the operative procedure. Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the operating room. Demonstrates teamwork and ensures that the sterile environment is maintained. Keeps a safe environment for patients. Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team. Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines during surgical procedures.
