Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician- Assist in surgical procedures in the Cardiac Operating Room, including complex thoracic surgeries and vascular cases.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Ensure proper positioning and prepping of patients.
- Facilitate endovascular equipment usage for specific cases.
- Collaborate effectively with RNs, CSTs, and anesthesia staff.
Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- CARDIAC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Current BLS certification
- CST certification
