Travel Surgical Tech, Glendale, CA (Competitive pay)

Job Summary

Assists the surgical team in preparing for and performing surgical procedures in the operating room. Creates and maintains a sterile field, prepares surgical cases, retracts and passes instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons, and performs various technical duties related to surgical procedures and supply maintenance.

Requirements

Education & Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent: Required

• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience: Preferred

• Scrub Technician experience: Preferred

• Operating Room experience and/or training course: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Surgery Technician Certification: Preferred

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy: Required

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification: Preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy: Required
