Key Responsibilities

• Scrub in and assist surgical teams across multiple service lines including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and supplies efficiently during operations
• Perform counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with circulating nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia staff to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Active NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Strong hands-on experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical specialties
• Must be a travel candidate; local candidates within ineligible counties will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large academic or high-acuity medical center environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties within a fast-paced OR setting
