Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist in a high-volume operating room environment performing total joint arthroplasty, multi-level spinal fusions, and robotic-assisted surgical cases
Operate and support the Da Vinci Xi robotic system across GYN, colorectal, and general surgery casesSupport orthopedic, neurosurgery, and spine procedures with a 1:1 patient ratio
Participate in on-call rotation, averaging approximately 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period
Collaborate with surgical team members including RNs and surgical support techs across an 11-OR suite
Document and manage case information using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
Active NBSTSA certification (required; candidates without will not be considered)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
Demonstrated experience with total joint arthroplasty, heavy orthopedics, neurosurgery, and spine procedures
Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system
Ability to begin assignment within 3 weeks of offer; projected start July 14, 2026
