OB Surgical Technologist – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities- Provide surgical technologist support within a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit setting
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy procedures
- Collaborate with a team of RNs and surgical techs to deliver patient care based on acuity and census
- Operate and maintain GE equipment in accordance with unit standards
- Document patient care activities accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
- Float to other units as needed when census is low, per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in a labor and delivery setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in an OB/GYN surgical environment
- Familiarity with GE obstetric equipment and EPIC documentation systems
- Experience in a travel or multi-facility assignment setting
