Travel Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Day Shift, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities- Scrub into a variety of surgical cases including total joint arthroplasty, multi-level spinal fusions, and Da Vinci Xi robotic procedures (GYN, colorectal, general)
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within an 11-OR operating room environment
- Serve as a patient advocate throughout all phases of surgical care
- Participate in on-call rotation, averaging approximately 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per scheduling period
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including RNs and surgical support technicians
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and case management
Required Qualifications- Active NBSTSA certification (required; candidates without will not be considered)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of scrub technologist experience
- Demonstrated experience with total joint arthroplasty and multi-level spinal fusion procedures
- Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical systems
- Ability to begin assignment within 3 weeks of offer; projected start June 23, 2026
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in orthopedic or neuro service lines including total joint and spinal procedures
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a collaborative approach to patient care
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
