Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during orthopedic procedures by preparing and passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures in the orthopedic unit
• Prepare the operating room prior to procedures, including setting up sterile drapes, equipment, and instrumentation
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond appropriately during procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping in accordance with surgical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification or equivalent credential
• Prior experience in a surgical technician role within an acute care or hospital setting
• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic surgery or a dedicated orthopedic surgical unit
• Familiarity with orthopedic instrumentation and implant systems
