Certified Surgical Technician (CST) / Operating Room (OR) — Travel

Barstow, California

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days — Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM | Call as scheduled

• Prepare the operating room including the sterile field, surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions prior to procedures
• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgical procedures
• Manage the sterile field and surgical specimens simultaneously throughout procedures
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects
• Support a range of surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, and Vascular procedures
• Perform sterile processing and instrument reprocessing (SPD) as required

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification issued by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited or programmatically-accredited surgical technology program
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician in an OR setting
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Prior travel assignment experience required; local candidates will not be considered

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including Orthopedic and Vascular
• Experience with sterile processing and instrument reprocessing (SPD)
