Ambulatory OR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location
Charleston, SC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12s (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) or 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | One late week per four-week period to complete cases | No weekends | No on-call required
Key Responsibilities
Perform scrub technologist duties within a 9-OR ambulatory operating room environment
Support surgical cases across a variety of specialties within the perioperative setting
Float within the perioperative facility as needed to meet operational demands
May be required to precept care team members in the operating room
Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) if required
Required Qualifications
Active NBSTSA certification required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience required
Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler's parent/staffing company
First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, or Surgical Oncology
Prior experience in an ambulatory or outpatient surgical setting
