Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required (up to 4 call shifts per month and 1 weekend shift per month) | 1 weekend shift required per month | Holiday rotation included
Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist in a wide variety of surgical cases including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Robotics, Transplant/Procurement, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN procedures
Perform assigned on-call shifts as required, including weekend call coverage
Float within scope of practice to support facility needs across like units as required
Utilize electronic health record system (EPIC) for accurate and timely case documentation
Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including robotic surgical systems
Participate in holiday rotation and emergency response assignments as directed by facility leadership
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
Active NBSTSA certification (CST) required
Current BLS certification required
Level I trauma experience required
Radiation badge required (must be provided by placing agency)
Ability to scrub a broad range of surgical specialties as supported by a high-volume main operating room
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Neurosurgery cases including spine and craniotomy procedures
Experience with ENT flap cases
Proficiency with robotic surgical systems, specifically the da Vinci Xi platform
