Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-Site | Includes holiday rotation, one weekend shift per four-week schedule period, and up to four on-call shifts per four-week schedule period
Key Responsibilities
Scrub into a wide variety of surgical cases including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Robotics, Transplant/Procurement, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN procedures
Provide surgical technologist support within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center main operating room environment across 21 OR suites
Perform on-call duties as required per the scheduling period
Float within scope to support facility needs across like units as required
Utilize electronic health record system for charting and documentation
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
Active NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
Current BLS certification required
Level I trauma experience required
Radiation badge required (must be provided by placing agency)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Neuro cases including spines and craniotomies
Experience with ENT flap procedures
Robotic surgery experience, specifically with the da Vinci Xi system
