Contract | Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients safely throughout the facility as needed
- Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures
- Lift and move heavy items in accordance with safety protocols
- Provide customer service support within the surgical services department
- Complete required orientation activities during initial weeks of assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in surgical services
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active and unrestricted Ohio state license or valid compact license required at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months required
- Must meet nicotine-free requirements if not a Nurse or CST (negative 10-panel plus nicotine/cotinine drug screen required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 1 year of direct customer service experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
- Prior experience within a surgical or perioperative environment
