Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical technologist duties across scheduled day shifts, either 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts (7:00am–3:30pm or 7:00am–5:30pm)
• Participate in a call rotation within a 6-week schedule, including approximately one call shift per week
• Cover call shifts from end of day shift (3:30pm or 5:30pm) through 7:00am the following morning
• Fulfill weekend call obligations, consisting of 1–2 weekend call shifts (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00am–7:00am) per 6-week schedule
• Be available for mandatory last-minute call coverage when a scheduled on-call team member is unable to report
• Respond to the facility within 30 minutes of call notification in support of a Level 3 Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Must be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes of call from a supervisor
• Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends and last-minute call coverage
• Experience working in a surgical or operating room environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a trauma center setting
• Comfort with varied shift lengths and flexible scheduling requirements
• Strong ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-acuity surgical situations
