Surgical Process Technician

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Note: Orientation period requires 1st shift availability (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) for approximately the first three weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely throughout the facility as required
• Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures
• Lift and move heavy items in accordance with safety protocols
• Support surgical services staff in maintaining an efficient and compliant operating environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in hand at time of submission
• High school diploma or GED required
• Active permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must be nicotine-free (exceptions apply for nurses and CSTs); negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in a surgical services or related specialty
• Prior experience in a surgical or procedural environment with room turnover responsibilities
