Surgical Process Technician

Cleveland, OH

Contract | Nights | 5x8-Hour Shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

• Transport patients safely throughout the surgical services department
• Clean and turn over operating rooms between surgical cases
• Lift and move heavy items and equipment as required by department operations
• Support surgical services staff in maintaining an efficient and safe environment

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in surgical services or applicable specialty
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — no pending renewals accepted
• High school diploma or GED required
• Active, permanent Ohio state license in hand at time of submission (Compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass required facility assessments (ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate) during orientation; maximum of two attempts permitted

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
• Experience within a single location for the required specialty tenure is preferred but not mandatory

• Opportunity to work within a nationally recognized health system in a high-volume surgical environment
• Contract extensions available for up to 18 months for strong performers
