Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Projected Start: 07/06/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for surgery including skin preparation, patient positioning, and transport to and from the Operating Room
  • Establish and maintain the sterile field; pass instruments and sutures to the physician as directed
  • Set up the Operating Room with appropriate tables, instruments, and supplies based on case type and physician preference cards; keep preference cards current and complete
  • Identify, handle, and care for biological specimens in accordance with facility standards
  • Monitor and control the surgical environment including traffic control, dress code compliance, and OR sanitation policies
  • Perform decontamination, processing, and sterilization of instruments and supplies in accordance with facility policy
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program required
  • CST License or LVN/LPN License required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
  • Minimum 2 years of Neurosurgery scrub experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience scrubbing General, Orthopedic, Plastics, Urology, ENT, and Vascular surgery cases strongly preferred
  • Ability to proficiently scrub 3 or more specialty areas such as Transplants, Open Heart, Neurology, Robotics, or Titanium Rib procedures highly preferred
  • Experience in a Level II Trauma Center environment a plus
