Travel Surgical Tech in Denver, CO

TRAVEL - CST - OR (701) - HCA HealthONE Swedish - 7A - 7P - VENDOR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Flexibility required for day and evening hours as needed
• On-call requirements of 1-2 call shifts per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Work in a 14-OR operating room unit with a 1:1 patient ratio (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Day shift team includes 1 charge, 1 RN/1 ST per OR, PCTs, ATs, and trauma team
• Perform procedures including neuro, transplants, and ortho/spine surgeries
• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital experience as a CST required
• Ortho/joint experience required
• NBSTA and DORA certifications required prior to submission
• BLS certification required
• EMR system used: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Strong team player with a high level of accountability, expertise, and self-direction expected

Facility:

This facility is a main hospital campus featuring 14 operating rooms and a team of 70 FTEs supporting a high-acuity surgical environment. The unit handles a wide range of complex procedures including neuro, transplants, and orthopedic/spine surgeries, supported by a dedicated trauma team. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and maintains high standards of care with experienced, specialized staff across both day and night shifts.
