Job Title

Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Dickinson, ND

Contract | Days | 9-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday (0600–1530 or 0700–1630) | On-call requirements include 1–2 weeknight call shifts per week and 1 weekend per month | Team/self-scheduling

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical cases including orthopedic, OB/GYN, and general surgery procedures
• Support cases involving total joints, ORIF, arthroscopy, cesarean sections, laparoscopic procedures, and diagnostic surgeries
• Operate and assist with surgical technology including C-arm, Mako robot, LigaSure, and harmonic scalpel
• Work across a facility with 6 OR suites and 1 GI suite serving adult, pediatric, geriatric, and obstetric patient populations
• Fulfill on-call obligations including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call as required

• Current BLS certification required
• North Dakota UAP certification required
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or NCCT certification preferred
• Must meet all state licensure and certification requirements; military training alone does not satisfy North Dakota state requirements
• Must be able to pass facility fit testing requirements; candidates with facial hair must be able to pass an approved fit test

• Experience with total joint procedures and cesarean sections strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Mako robotic surgical system and orthopedic procedures a plus
• Prior experience in a multi-suite OR environment serving diverse patient populations

• Scrubs provided on-site with a streamlined 1–2 shift department-specific orientation to get you up and running quickly
• Flexible team/self-scheduling model in a well-equipped surgical environment offering exposure to a broad range of cases and advanced surgical technology
