Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job TypeContract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Onsite | Projected Start: July 27, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures within a 14-OR acute care hospital operating room environment
- Support orthopedic, spine, neuro, and transplant surgical cases as assigned
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in collaboration with the surgical team including RNs, PCTs, and trauma team members
- Utilize the Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient care coordination
- Participate in on-call coverage, including 1–2 call shifts per week between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM
- Adapt to day and evening hours as needed, demonstrating flexibility within unit guidelines
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required prior to submission
- DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) Certification required prior to submission
- Current BLS certification
- Demonstrated orthopedic and joint surgical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Level I trauma center experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
