Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room – Travel Contract

Contract (Travel) | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | On-call requirements: 1–2 call shifts per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in a 14-OR acute care hospital operating room environment
- Support a 1:1 patient ratio alongside RN and surgical team members across a variety of surgical specialties-
- Assist with orthopedic, spine, neuro, and transplant procedures
- Collaborate with charge staff, RNs, PCTs, and trauma teams to maintain safe and efficient OR operations
- Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient care coordination
- Maintain flexibility for day and evening hours as needed, including on-call shifts
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- NBSTSA certification required prior to submission
- DORA (Colorado) certification required prior to submission
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated orthopedic and joint surgical experience
- Minimum 2 years of overall CST experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Background in neuro or transplant surgical procedures
