Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | On-call requirements: 1–2 call shifts per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures within a 14-OR acute care hospital operating room environment
• Support orthopedic, spine, neuro, and transplant surgical cases as assigned

• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in collaboration with the surgical team, including RNs, PCTs, and trauma team members
• Participate in day and evening shift coverage, including on-call responsibilities as scheduled
• Utilize the Meditech EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
• Demonstrate accountability, self-direction, and strong teamwork in a high-acuity surgical setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• NBSTSA Certification (CST) required prior to submission
• DORA (Colorado) Certification required prior to submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic and joint surgical procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR system
• Experience with neuro and/or transplant surgical procedures
