Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and surgical technologist duties within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and properly arranged prior to procedures
• Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular surgical procedures by passing instruments and anticipating the needs of the surgeon
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and sterile technique standards throughout all procedures
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to ensure efficient and safe patient care in the OR

Required Qualifications

• Active NBSTSA certification (CST) required — NCCT certification is not accepted in lieu of NBSTSA
• Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience
• Demonstrated experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment
• Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical or CVOR setting
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility protocols and surgical teams
