Key Responsibilities
- Independently scrub a wide range of surgical procedures including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
- Assist with operating room turnover cleaning between cases
- Transport patients as needed within the department
- Work variable shifts within a 0645–2315 operating window based on department needs
- Participate in on-call rotation, averaging 1–2 call shifts per week plus up to 2 weekends per month, with a 20-minute callback requirement
- Complete a minimum of 39 shifts for the duration of the contract if requesting time off
Required Qualifications
- Active State of Hawaii Scrub Technician license required by assignment start date
- Minimum of 2 years of scrubbing experience in a hospital operating room setting
- Demonstrated ability to independently scrub across multiple surgical specialties
- Ability to meet a 20-minute on-call callback requirement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced surgical environment
- Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical technician role
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
