Position: Surgical Tech – CVOR SNSNSN
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Shift: Days – 5x8s (Day Shift)
Duration: 14 weeks
Job Duties
• Assist in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures under RN supervision
• Prepare and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures
• Set up instruments, supplies, and equipment for open heart and vascular cases
• Participate in surgical time-outs and ensure patient safety protocols
• Perform accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies
• Handle specimens, implants, and surgical equipment per protocol
• Assist with room turnover, cleaning, and stocking between cases
• Support central sterile processing as needed
• Communicate effectively with surgical team members
• Ensure proper care, cleaning, and maintenance of surgical instruments
