Travel Certified Surgical Technologist – Cardiovascular OR (CVOR)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities- Scrub and assist in cardiovascular and general OR procedures including vascular, thoracic, joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, podiatry, and plastic surgery cases
- Operate and assist with specialized cardiovascular equipment including Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser lead extraction, EVH, and rapid transfuser
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 2-room cardiovascular OR suite
- Accurately document patient care and procedural information using Meditech
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities as required based on staffing needs
- Function proficiently across multiple surgical service lines and specialties
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Demonstrated proficiency scrubbing across all surgical service lines
- Proficient in electronic clinical documentation and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in robotics, orthopedic, spine, and GYN surgical specialties
- Strong critical thinking skills and excellent bedside manner
- CST certification preferred but not required
