Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in the Operating Room, supporting a range of surgical procedures including Total Joint Replacement
• Assist with Endoscopy procedures, with expected utilization in Endoscopy multiple times per week
• Float to additional campus locations (Crane and Endoscopy units) as needed
• Fulfill preceptor responsibilities for orienting or training staff as required
• Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including availability during designated holiday blocks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience
• NBSTSA certification required — equivalent certifications (e.g., NCCT) are not accepted
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Demonstrated preceptor experience required
• Total Joint Replacement experience required
• Endoscopy experience required — this is a firm requirement and non-negotiable
• Personal vehicle required — the assignment location is a small community without public transportation
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a community hospital or multi-campus health system environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to float between surgical and endoscopy units
• Current Surgical Technician skills checklist completed within the past year
