Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist in complex CVOR procedures including AAA repairs, valve replacements, CABG, and open/endovascular cases such as bypass, angiography, and stent placements
Support surgical procedures in the Main OR across General, Trauma, Ortho, Urology, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, and Robotic cases utilizing the XI Robot and Mako joint robot
Perform proper patient positioning, prepping, and facilitation of complex open thoracic and vascular cases
Operate and manage advanced endovascular equipment in the cardiac operating room environment
Adhere to on-call scheduling requirements including CVOR call shifts (12-hour Monday–Friday) and 24-hour Saturday and Sunday call coverage on a rotating basis
Document accurately using the Meditech documentation system and follow AIDET patient experience standards
Required Qualifications
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
Cardiac/CVOR experience is required
Demonstrated ability to scrub complex thoracic and vascular cases including AAA, valve replacement, and CABG
Proficiency with endovascular equipment and advanced surgical technology
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience scrubbing in a high-volume, multi-specialty OR environment including Ortho, Neuro, Plastics, and Robotic cases
Familiarity with the Meditech electronic documentation system
Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly accredited facility
