    Job Title

    Travel - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - CVOR

    Location

    Charleston, SC

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Scrub and assist in complex CVOR procedures including AAA repairs, valve replacements, CABG, and open/endovascular cases such as bypass, angiography, and stent placements
    • Support surgical procedures in the Main OR across General, Trauma, Ortho, Urology, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, and Robotic cases utilizing the XI Robot and Mako joint robot
    • Perform proper patient positioning, prepping, and facilitation of complex open thoracic and vascular cases
    • Operate and manage advanced endovascular equipment in the cardiac operating room environment
    • Adhere to on-call scheduling requirements including CVOR call shifts (12-hour Monday–Friday) and 24-hour Saturday and Sunday call coverage on a rotating basis
    • Document accurately using the Meditech documentation system and follow AIDET patient experience standards
    Required Qualifications
    • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
    • Cardiac/CVOR experience is required
    • Demonstrated ability to scrub complex thoracic and vascular cases including AAA, valve replacement, and CABG
    • Proficiency with endovascular equipment and advanced surgical technology
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience scrubbing in a high-volume, multi-specialty OR environment including Ortho, Neuro, Plastics, and Robotic cases
    • Familiarity with the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly accredited facility
