Travel – CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Perform scrub technologist duties within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment during cardiovascular procedures
- Ensure proper handling, counting, and documentation of surgical instruments and sponges
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and OR efficiency throughout all procedures
Required Qualifications- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular or open-heart surgical procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR environment
- Compliance with all travel assignment onboarding requirements including health screenings and credentialing
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel assignment experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Experience in a trauma center or large acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with robotic or minimally invasive cardiovascular surgical procedures
