    Surgical Technologist

    Location

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days (3x12, 7:00–19:30) with possible night shift rotation (19:00–7:30) | Onsite | Weeknight call required (1–2 nights per week on average) | Weekend call required (every 4–5 weekends on average)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Scrub and assist in a high-volume surgical environment with approximately 60–80 cases per day across 30 operating rooms
    • Support a broad range of surgical procedures including but not limited to DIEP breast reconstruction, Whipple, esophagectomy, exploratory laparotomy, bowel resection, thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, adrenalectomy, neck dissection, free flaps, mastectomy, lumpectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and melanoma excision
    • Perform duties across multiple surgical specialties beyond the primary specialty hired for
    • Participate in weeknight and weekend call rotation as scheduled
    • Adhere to all facility policies including a 100% nicotine-free environment requirement
    • Document and chart accurately using EPIC
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience required
    • Minimum Level 2 trauma experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • EPIC charting experience required
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
    • Prior travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Level 1 trauma experience highly preferred
    • DaVinci robotic surgical system experience highly preferred
    • Well-rounded surgical background with experience across multiple specialties
