Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Omaha, NE

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) with possible night shift rotation (19:30–7:30) | Onsite | Weeknight call required (1–2 nights/week on average) | Weekend call required (every 4–5 weekends on average)

• Assist surgical team across approximately 30 operating rooms supporting 60–80 cases per day
• Scrub in for a wide variety of surgical procedures including general, trauma, vascular, endoscopic, colorectal, and gastro robotic cases
• Participate in weeknight and weekend call rotations as scheduled
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and sterile technique requirements throughout all surgical procedures
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation as required upon onboarding

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
• Experience with general and trauma surgical procedures required
• Experience with vascular and endoscopic procedures required
• Experience with colorectal and gastro robotic procedures required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC charting experience required

• Level 1 Trauma center experience highly preferred
• DaVinci robotic surgical system experience highly preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
