Operating Room Tech / Surgical Tech

Schedule / Job TypeContract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Projected Start: June 2026
Key Responsibilities- Perform scrub technologist duties within a high-volume Operating Room environment, including Level 1 trauma and specialty surgical cases
- Assist surgical teams during open vascular, robotic, and other specialty procedures using equipment such as Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive robotic systems
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 26-bed OR suite, ensuring patient safety and procedural readiness
- Participate in call rotation including one overnight trauma call shift (11p–7a) and specialty team call as assigned
- Adhere to weekend rotation requirements (approximately 1 in 4 weekends) and maintain flexibility across shift scheduling
- Document and communicate accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Open vascular surgical experience required
- Robotics experience required
- Ability to meet call, weekend, and shift rotation requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic trauma, Orthopedic joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular procedures
- Demonstrated flexibility, accountability, punctuality, and strong team collaboration skills
