    Operating Room Surgical Technologist (CST) – Travel, Days

    Location

    Portland, Maine

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 1:4 Weekend Rotation | On-Call Requirements Apply

    Key Responsibilities
    • Scrub and assist in a high-volume Operating Room at a Level One Trauma Center, with a primary focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures
    • Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems including the Da Vinci Xi platform
    • Support a broad range of procedures including PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies
    • Provide exceptional patient care across a population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
    • Fulfill on-call obligations including overnight trauma call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and specialty team call as applicable
    • Utilize EMR system (Epic) and work with equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot platforms
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience; at least 3 years of Level One Trauma Center experience strongly required
    • Demonstrated competency in robotic-assisted surgery (Da Vinci Xi) and GU/GYN surgical procedures
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio standard
    • Flexibility to meet weekend rotation (1:4) and on-call scheduling requirements
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular procedures
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR and surgical equipment including Storz, Stryker, and Olympus platforms
    • Demonstrated ability to work as a flexible, accountable, and punctual team player in a collaborative OR environment
