    Operating Room Surgical Technologist (CST) – Travel, Days

    Location

    Portland, Maine

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 1:4 Weekend Rotation | Overnight Trauma Call Required (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform scrub technologist duties in a Level One Trauma Center operating room, with a focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures
    • Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including robotic platforms (Da Vinci Xi), Storz, Stryker, and Olympus systems
    • Support a broad range of surgical procedures including PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies
    • Provide surgical tech support across a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics in a 1:1 patient ratio environment
    • Participate in on-call rotations including overnight trauma call and specialty team call schedules as assigned
    • Document and maintain accurate records using Epic EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience; Level One Trauma Center experience required
    • Demonstrated competency in robotic-assisted surgery, specifically the Da Vinci Xi platform
    • Proficiency in GU and GYN surgical procedures as listed above
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and adapt to trauma and specialty call requirements
    • Comfortable working with a diverse patient population including pediatric and geriatric patients
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular procedures
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR
    • Demonstrated flexibility, accountability, and strong teamwork skills in a high-acuity surgical setting
