Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in a high-volume main operating room serving a wide range of surgical specialties
- Support surgical procedures across orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma cases
- Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures utilizing da Vinci robotic systems across multiple service lines
- Participate in transplant program surgeries including liver, kidney, and heart procedures
- Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies throughout all procedures
Required Qualifications
- NBSTSA Certification (CST) or a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Ability to scrub independently across surgical specialties
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical platforms
- Familiarity with transplant surgery protocols
