Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 8-hour shifts with variable start times | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Scrub and assist in a high-volume OR environment handling 15–20 cases per day across 7 operating suites
- Support a wide variety of surgical cases including orthopedics (total joints), general surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, and ophthalmology
- Adhere to sterile field protocols and assist with setup, instrumentation, and breakdown of surgical cases
- Fulfill on-call obligations including one call night per week and one weekend of call per month with a 30-minute response time
- Operate and navigate EMR system (Cerner Surginet) as required during cases
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of OR scrub experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Surgical Technologist certification required
- Ability to meet a 30-minute call response time requirement
- Willingness to work variable start times and participate in on-call rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner Surginet EMR is a plus
- Experience with high-volume orthopedic cases including total joint procedures is advantageous
