Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a high-volume operating room environment handling an average of 23–25 cases per day across up to 10 OR rooms
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Vascular, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, and Urology
• Provide scrub support in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for an active Open Heart Surgery program
• Participate in an on-call rotation of approximately 4–5 calls per 4-week schedule, with flexibility based on unit needs
• Complete all required facility onboarding modules prior to first day of assignment — no exceptions

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system — required
• Experience scrubbing in a multi-specialty OR setting
• Ability to complete all required onboarding/orientation modules prior to arrival on unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CVOR scrub experience strongly preferred; candidates with this background are especially encouraged to apply
• Comfort working mid-shift start times (e.g., 10:30 AM) on either 8- or 12-hour shift structures
• Experience in high-acuity cases including vascular and open heart procedures
