Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team in the Operating Room throughout a variety of surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after surgery
• Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and surgical assistants as needed
• Ensure proper handling and accounting of surgical instruments, sponges, and needles
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols within the OR

Required Qualifications

• Active NBSTSA (NBST) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 12–24 months of surgical technologist experience
• Experience working in an Operating Room setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures
• Strong ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain efficient OR workflow
