Surgical Technologist

Contract (16 Weeks), Days, Onsite

• Assist surgical team in the Operating Room throughout a variety of surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after surgery
• Handle and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and surgical team members
• Ensure proper counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps are performed and documented
• Maintain a safe and organized OR environment in compliance with surgical protocols

• Active NBSTSA (NBST) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 12–24 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Experience working in an Operating Room setting

• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures
• Strong ability to anticipate surgeon needs and adapt quickly in a fast-paced OR environment
