Travel Surgical Tech in Thornton, CO

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - CST L&D

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Labor & Delivery unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
• Unit consists of 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 maximum for Labor & Delivery and 3:1 for postpartum per AWHONN guidelines
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 2-3 L&D RNs, and 2-3 postpartum RNs
• Night shift staffing mirrors day shift structure
• Perform procedures including versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs
• Utilize Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech systems
• Minimum 6 months of current CST L&D experience required
• LDRP experience preferred
• Postpartum experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NBST; active DORA certification required
• Ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented

This facility is a well-established healthcare organization offering comprehensive women's health and surgical services. The Labor & Delivery unit is staffed by an experienced team of approximately 60 staff members and is equipped with modern technology including advanced EMR systems. The unit supports a full range of obstetric procedures and maintains a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
