Key Responsibilities
Perform scrub technologist duties in the operating room within a short-term acute care, teaching facility setting
Assist surgical teams during operative procedures, ensuring proper instrumentation and sterile techniqueFloat within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential rotation to sister facilities
Complete all required pre-start and annual modules in a timely manner prior to assignment start
Adhere to strict attendance and facility compliance policies throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of operating room surgical technologist experience
Active BLS certification required
Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions will be accepted after submission
Must be available for on-call and weekend requirements as discussed during interview
Pending licensure not accepted; must have active credentials at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
NBSTSA or NCCT national certification strongly recommended
Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
Prior experience in a teaching hospital or acute care environment
