Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties in a cardiovascular operating room setting, including open-heart and hybrid procedures
• Operate and assist with advanced cardiovascular equipment including IABP, ECMO, Atricure machine, and Impella 5.5
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a unit consisting of 2 CVOR rooms and 1 Hybrid Room
• Document accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call rotations, which may include weekend and holiday coverage
• Adhere to facility dress code, wearing designated blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR CST experience required
• Active Virginia State Surgical Technologist License (status must be provided at submission)
• NBSTSA Certification required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Experience with adult patient population

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong CVOR background with demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular support devices such as ECMO and Impella 5.5
