Overview
Travel Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) – Norman, Oklahoma. Start date 06/01/2026 for a 13-week temporary travel assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,343–$2,409. Shift: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an on-call schedule that includes 15 call shifts per month and two full weekends of call. This role supports the operating room team in a high-volume setting, requiring strong teamwork and adherence to sterile technique.

Responsibilities
- Assist the surgeon during operative procedures and anticipate intraoperative needs
- Maintain a safe and aseptic environment in the operating room
- Manage instrument sets, supplies, and specimen handling; assist with positioning and draping
- Participate in instrument and instrument tray counts to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with the surgical team to support patient safety and efficient case flow
- Contribute to room turnover and post-procedure cleanup to prepare for the next case

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, or five consecutive years of training/experience as a surgical tech (required)
- CVOR experience (required)
- LPN with one year surgical tech experience (preferred)
- NBSTSA certification preferred; BLS certification required
- Submission requirements: Work history and Skills Checklist current to 1 year; two supervisory references from the past 12 months
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting and participate in the required on-call schedule
