✅ Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician (ORT) program, OR
Graduation from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past 6 months, OR
2 years of scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last 3 years
BLS required
National ORT certification or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
Surgical team experience required
Strong sterile field management & sterilization knowledge
OR safety experience, including sharps & fire safety
Experience preparing ORs and surgical instruments
Knowledge of sterile processing
Ability to respond appropriately during surgical emergencies
Experience assisting surgeons within ORT scope of practice
